Robert Burns, our nations most famous Poet wrote ‘the address to a haggis’ about Scotland’s delicious national dish. The poem lasts five minutes and is presented theatrically to entertain guests between courses during a Scottish banquet. This is followed by the guests being served a Haggis course so they can sample the famous meal.

A Piper will pipe the haggis into the room, the Chef following close behind carrying the Haggis with Whisky waiting on the tables. The haggis address will be briefly explained, then the poem is recited. Then guests are asked by the piper to toast the haggis with their Whisky. This is fantastic element of any
Scottish evening!
