Andrew joined the wonderful world of the MICE industry in 1984, working for Hilton International Hotels in the UK and Europe. A switch to Marriott International Hotels in London was then followed by a permanent move back to Scotland, taking senior sales & marketing roles at a number of 5 star properties including The Old Course Hotel, St Andrews.
The seeds for the business were sown in 2001 and Andrew Burnet & Company delivered their first Scottish event in May 2002.
Since then, the team has delivered some spectacular events including a 5 day incentive programme for an iconic US aircraft manufacturer whose guests were high profile CEOs from across the airline industry; a media launch for a luxury British car brand; preferred DMC partner for a major economic conference in Edinburgh; and many, many more large and small events.
